The changeover to PowerPax chillers into the existing HVAC system at Four Points in Sydney’s Darling Harbour achieved significant power savings and allowed very accurate monitoring and prediction of the absorbed power, courtesy of the unique part-load features of the PowerPax chillers. The plant is totaling  approximately 2.2 MW and of each of the two chillers was delivered in dual circuit option to the customer’s specification. Four Points by Sheraton have seen energy efficiency increases of 50%. With savings such as these, the switch to PowerPax chillers pays for itself.
