Powerpax is a Melbourne-based manufacturer of ultra-energy efficient chillers for commercial applications utilizing the magnetic-bearing Danfoss Turbocor compressor technology. At the cutting edge of innovation and rapidly growing the company is looking for expressions of interest for un upcoming opening for an experienced Service Technician in WA to join our team to become an expert in this revolutionary technology.

The position entails involvement in providing the following services:

    ·  Technical service support for Powerpax products via the phone, on-line or in person;
    ·  Co-ordination of warranty service activities performed by our service partners in the field;
    ·  Local and interstate travelling will be required to offer expert assistance and troubleshooting;
    ·  Involvement in the on-going training of field technicians.
    ·  An emphasis will be placed on conducting the above within WA, however the role will also entail lending occasional support where needed throughout Australia.
To be considered for the position the candidate must satisfy the following criteria:
    ·  Must be currently a qualified and licensed refrigeration technician;
    ·  Experience in HVAC and Central Plant/Chillers is essential;
    ·  Centrifugal refrigeration compressor experience will be highly regarded;
    ·  Solid grasp of Controls and Control Systems is essential;
    ·  Computer literacy is essential;
    ·  Must have a current driver's license.

The candidates must be self-motivated, display good initiative, be prepared for future challenges and demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow as part of our talented team. Good communications skills are essential.
